In keeping with its original
charter, by-laws and mission statement, First Savings Bank of Perkasie
formed a non-profit foundation effective December 31, 1998, for the
purpose of maintaining an ability to support 501 C3 charitable
organizations in its service area.
First
Savings Community Foundation is operated for the expressed purpose of
returning to the community through its multiple charitable organizations
financial support for goodwill services as defined by the Internal
Revenue Service under 501 C3. Persons representing qualified
organizations under the above referenced section should contact the
administrative office of First Savings Bank of Perkasie with their
specific needs and requests. These requests shall be presented to the
Board of Trustees of the First Savings Community Foundation at its
regularly scheduled meetings.
Requests should be accompanied by the appropriate IRS documents
attesting to the 501 C3 status of the organization. The requests can
